CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Fundamentals Brazilian Jiu jitsu

This is a fundamental class that covers basic to intermediate level techniques, BJJ philosophy, and dojo etiquette.  While this class is catered to beginners (white belts), advanced students are also welcome to attend.  Please note that there will be no sparring during this class.

Intermediate/Advance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

This class is designed for intermediate to advanced students (white belt with at least 1 stripe) and covers intermediate to advanced techniques as well as  performing drills, positional sparring, and sparring. 

open mat

This class is for intermediate to advanced level students (minimum white belt with 1 stripe).  This is an open format and students can use this time to spar or practice techniques.

 

Open Gym

Open Gym- Open gym is a dedicated time for members to come in for a workout.  Members can workout on their own or follow the “workout of the day” posted on the white board.  At least one of our coaches will be available if you have questions or need assistance.  Personal training is also available for those who  are interested in a customized workout program and a coach to help with their workouts .

 

Little Warriors Jiu Jitsu 

Through our children learning the martial art of jiu jitsu the purpose is to go way beyond the mat from young age. Teaching kids discipline and respect as well as building self-confidence to be able to defend their selves from bullies and in general. Also opening the opportunity to compete in sport as well as building lifelong friendships with others. As a contact sport, our Little Warriors Jiu-Jitsu Program provides a very challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to mature towards a real life champion. The outcome of continued childhood practice of Jiu-Jitsu goes far beyond the accomplishments on the mats. The discipline and excellence demanded by our instructors often carries over to the child’s behavior at home and at school.

 

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a striking art and is a great form of self defence as well as a sport.  This class will test and improve your coordination, cardio, and overall fitness.  It is also a great complement to BJJ especially for those looking to transition into Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Women Empowered: Jiu Jitsu & Fitness

This is the most powerful class women will take in her life. Self-defense is something you shouldn’t choose to do, it should be something you feel you have to do. You can start the program at any time, no matter your fitness level or age, and can participate regardless of previous experience. Unlike most self-defense teachings that rely heavily on strength, speed, and coordination, our Women Empowered program, taught by women, for women teaches you to use leverage, technique, and timing. Anyone regardless of age or athletic ability can use these techniques to defend themselves against larger opponents. We also have a heart-pumping fitness section in this class that will have you burning calories and getting in shape!

MEMBERSHIPS

We offer our club Membership for $200 billed monthly.

Kids Membership is $160 billed monthly.

 

With membership you have access to all academy classes, as well as the weightlifting area. 

All students must wear a Fight Sports Team Gi 

and Rashguard to all classes.
